Role: The Nominating Committee will convene to select new NPN board members.

Role: The Finance Committee is led by the Treasurer and is held to review and corroborate the financial policies of NPN.

TASK FORCES
All NPN members, both non-profits and neighborhood associations, are welcome to join our task forces. Task force membership can be used to help fulfill volunteer hours.
Membership & Communications Task Force
Role: The purpose of the Membership and Communications Committee is to activate membership by getting members involved in NPN’s programs, committees, and resources as well as cultivating a sense of mutual ownership amongst the members. Ultimately, the network is as strong its membership. This group meets on the third Monday of every month at NPN’s offices.

Advocacy and Outreach Task Force
Role: The role of the Advocacy & Outreach committee to stay informed on issues of citywide importance and create the opportunity for the network to develop proposals, commentary or solutions. This group meets on the third Wednesday of every month.

The Trumpet Editorial Board Task Force
Role: The purpose of the Editorial Board is to help determine the direction of The Trumpet on a long-term basis (yearly, or seasonally) while addressing outside concerns and maintaining the connection between NPN and The Trumpet. Additionally, the Board will be responsible for elevating the magazine to a new standard, and keeping us there.
