Mission:

The Real Timbers Property Owners Association is an Algiers neighborhood that is focused on improving the quality of life for its residents. It host a numbers of neighborhood clean-up and beautification initiatives, neighborhood fun run/walk, and plans to partner with NORD as a booster supporter for Bodenger Playground improvements and youth activities enhancement in the neighborhood. Past events included an annual Spring Clean-Up, Brothers cooking for the Mother’s Day appreciation, youth involvement through neighborhood Fairs and Festivals.

Upcoming goals and needs include:
1.) To partner with the New Orleans Environmental Department to get land-owners to clean up over grown lots.
2.) Looking for increased volunteer support to assist with events, clean-up and membership.
3.) Financial assistance to support the beautification initiative (e.g. equipment and supplies).
