The words below in bold are the terms you see in your profile and on the site. These are your tools to share and exchange information with the rest of the world. Most importantly, feel free to send an email to or call 504.940.2207 for assistance.
Photos: Very Important. It may be a cliché but it is true, a picture is worth a thousand words. Show the world the real faces of recovery: your neighbors, volunteers and staff. Be Strategic! You could use your Photo Gallery to highlight the slow response of city government or need for volunteers.
Bulletin: A statement of need or value that you want share with other groups. Are you in need of volunteers? Post a bulletin. Does your organization have a surplus of volunteers? Post a bulletin.
Resources: Upload a useful link, document or PDF you want to share with others. This could be your organization’s by-laws, hotline guide, data, a block captain manual or even a hard-to-find city application.
Events: Want better attendance? Post your meetings, workshops, conferences, festivals, fundraisers and more.
News: Share with New Orleans a few paragraphs about your recent block party or even pass along important updates on your group’s project. Create awareness. Examples include news about local development, festivals, lighting problems, or code enforcement successes. Again be strategic and creative! It’s your tool.
