- Learn to safely rehabilitate hurricane-damaged homes in a FREE workshop. Sponsored by HUD, this workshop teaches homeowners, volunteers and contractors how to properly and safely rebuild hurricane-damaged homes. This project is intended to enable homeowners and workers the ability to make educated decisions on home repairs, factors to consider when hiring professional, reputable and licensed contractors and practical tips to identify and avoid fraudulent contractors.
