My name is Julia Moore and I am the new Manager of Volunteers, Educational Programming, and Membership with French Quarter Festivals, Inc. I wanted to introduce myself and share with you some of the volunteer opportunities we have during 2016 French Quarter Festival presented by Chevron.
French Quarter Festival presented by Chevron is Thursday, April 7-10 this year. We are still looking for volunteers to help us in our beverage booths, merchandise booths, information booths, and special events. We would love if you were able to share our volunteer opportunities with the Neighborhood Partnership Network community.
Below are links to volunteer information on our website and our volunteer schedule and sign up page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a great day!
I write for the Trumpet for AARP Louisiana and I am wondering which article that would be in. The only issue that is in the archives is the April issue, everything else is from last year. i would really like to have a copy of my published article. Thanks,
We are looking for local businesses and nonprofits interested in participating in The Renaissance Project’s 2nd Annual Regrowing Community Summer Youth Employment Program. The program runs for 6 weeks from June 15 – July 24, 2015, and all of the interns’ salaries are paid by The Renaissance Project. The youth will attend a two-day orientation program June 11-12.
Last year The Renaissance Project hosted 50 youth workers who worked 20 hours per week and earned $10 per hour. This year, we will increase the number of interns to 60, and provide them with paid, real-life work experiences. The 2015 interns will work 25 hours per week and receive $10 per hour. This is a great opportunity for a 14-20 year old youth worker to learn about local businesses and organizations.

Please give me a call on my cell at 504-390-6300 if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss the project further.
